A New Word to Challenge Territories: but What Exactly Is Artificialization?

The French may be scratching their heads as they contemplate a new concept recently embodied in law: “artificialization”. What, then, does it mean? [1] The legal conundrum is that a law cannot reference a word that has no universally accepted scientific definition, and in this case there is none. Neither is there a system for evaluating artificialization in a way that will produce incontrovertible results. So let’s take a look at the meaning of this new word.
