Getting France back on track: increasing employment or working more?

For any future French government there will be no getting away from three challenges: the increase of purchasing power and the reduction of the trade deficit and debt, the increasing cost of which weighs down on the whole population. None of this will be possible without increasing the production of goods and services, so without intensifying employment. But can this be done?
