The number of births in France, falling since 2015, is apparently still very low. This marked decrease in births has a knock-on effect on numbers in schools. What decisions is this going to lead to in the geography of classes and schools, with the almost certainly inevitable perspective of closures? To address this question, we should look at how fewer births have already impacted classes and schools across France.
